Abstract
Effective time management among artisans is crucial for the timely completion and overall success of construction projects. This study investigates the influence of artisans' time management practices on construction project performance in Bauchi State, Nigeria. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 150 artisans and 50 project supervisors across selected ongoing construction sites. The findings reveal that structured scheduling, prioritization of tasks, and adherence to deadlines significantly contribute to project success, while poor time management leads to delays, cost overruns, and reduced quality. The study recommends training programs on time management and the adoption of digital tools to enhance artisans’ efficiency, thereby improving project outcomes.
