Artificial intelligence in healthcare: A study on challenges and future prospects

Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly
shaping the future of healthcare by enhancing diagnostic accuracy, automating
administrative tasks, and enabling personalized treatment. This study explores
the transformative impact of AI across various domains of healthcare while
critically examining the challenges hindering its full-scale adoption. Key
issues include data privacy, algorithmic bias, lack of standardization, and
ethical concerns. Despite these challenges, AI holds immense potential to
revolutionize medical care through predictive analytics, precision medicine,
and remote monitoring. This paper highlights the importance of ethical
innovation and cross-sector collaboration to overcome existing barriers and
ensure the responsible and effective integration of AI into healthcare systems.
